Hong Kong prioritises developing the skills of the next generation of ESG professionals to support a low-carbon and sustainable economy.

Financial Support

Hong Kong has earmarked HK$200 million for the 3-year Pilot Green and Sustainable Finance Capacity Building Support Scheme to subsidise training and the acquisition of professional qualifications in sustainable finance. As announced in the 2025-26 Budget, the Scheme will be extended to 2028.
