About Intern, Sustainable Finance

What does the Sustainable Finance Team do in ING?

Sustainability is deeply embedded in ING as is evidenced through our globally leading positions in the Sustainable Finance market and our Terra strategy to align our complete loan portfolio with the Paris Climate Agreement. The Sustainable Finance team is mandated to help clients with their funding needs for sustainable developments. Part of a leading global Sustainable Finance team, the Asia Pacific team provides sustainable financing solutions (such as green/social bonds and loans, sustainability linked loans, etc.), coupled with in-depth sector expertise to our clients in the Asia Pacific region.

What would you be doing?

Assist in originating, structuring, and executing Sustainable Finance transactions:
- Prepare pitchbooks and other relevant materials for conferences, workshops, webinars, etc
- Structure green/social/sustainable financing frameworks, sustainability linked financing products, etc.
- Perform analysis on eligibility of green/social assets, ESG ratings of companies
Research and analyse corporate sustainability disclosure and sector specific developments
Assist in reviewing and gathering intelligence on sustainable finance markets (loan and bond) and updating regulatory developments
Assist in data extraction, management, and manipulation from ESG databases and reports
Any other sustainable finance related tasks that may arise
